Understanding reports

Reports provide a structured way to review operational, financial, and supply-chain data across daily, monthly, and annual gas activities. They help users translate large volumes of transactional information such as nominations, pool activity, billing details, retail volumes, and supply allocations into meaningful insights.

Reports act as the reference point for validating inputs, monitoring exceptions, and reconciling downstream processes. Users rely on them to confirm whether pricing was applied correctly, volumes rolled up accurately, or supply and demand remained balanced across pools and LDCs.

Most reports allow filters such as date range, LDC, pool, accounts, and deal types so users can focus on specific business areas. Many also support export or drill-down views, enabling teams to follow data back to its source records. Overall, understanding how to navigate and interpret these reports ensures that operational issues can be identified early and that month-end reconciliation runs smoothly.
